Canadian's Profound History and Art

For a small town, Canadian has a lot of activities to offer, at any budget. From two museums, (one art, one history), a public golf course, wildlife preserve and lake, to the historic and restored River Bridge, one could fill up quite a few days with adventure here!

The Citadelle Art Museum

The Citadelle Art Museum is comprised of The Mansion, The Gardens and The Gallery. This beautiful church made into home displays not only art inside The Mansion, but also has a separate building, The Gallery, for a rotation of world-class exhibits. Come by and see why The Citadelle is one of Canadian's pride and joy.

Canadian Recreation Complex

The Canadian Recreation Complex is a multi purpose facility with a professional rodeo arena, home to over 10 rodeos a year and many high school and local rodeos. The complex also contains city duck ponds, horseshoe pits, a children's playground, baseball fields and driving range. The park offers full RV hookups for overnight visitors and Jones Pavilion, Canadian's premier event venue, hosts the Canadian River Music Festival on the 2nd Saturday of June.
